If you like your Yoga strong, then this is the workshop for you. Ashtanga is practiced by the likes of Madonna and appeals to those who like a physical challenge. This dynamic, physically demanding practice synchronizes breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body.
Ashtanga yoga, with its many Vinyasas, is great for building core strength and toning the body. Prepare to sweat as you briskly move through a set sequence. Ashtanga Yoga was founded K. Pattabhi Jois.
In this workshop, Angelo will guide you through the Primary Ashtanga series, explaining each pose in an accessible way, no matter what your level.
Angelo Pascalides completed his Yoga teacher training in India, under Yogacharya Lalit Kumar. Since qualifying he has furthered his studies by researching the benefits of yoga for stress, anxiety, injuries & also for professional sports.
